Welcome to Yorktown!

            I am pleased to have this opportunity to welcome you to Yorktown
            High School. All of us who work and study here thank you for
             your interest in our school. We are proud of Yorktown-- especially
            our students' accomplishments, in every area including academics,
            athletics and the arts. It is because of their outstanding achievements
            that Yorktown has been ranked one of the top high schools in the
            nation.

            I hope that this site gives you some idea of our school.
            Better yet-- consider stopping in for a visit if you are in Arlington. Over
            1500 students and 230 faculty will be ready to greet you and give
            you some sense of the Yorktown experience.
